SUSAN REED

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

With over two decades of experience spanning every stage of production—from script to screen—Susan Reed has built a dynamic career working across multiple markets and disciplines in the entertainment industry. Her journey began as a student of Film and Marketing at Columbia College Chicago, and has since evolved into a multifaceted career as a producer, consultant, and performer with extensive credits in film, television, and commercial work nationwide.

As a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Southeast Division), Susan brings both creative and technical expertise to every project she touches. For the past seven years, she has been an integral part of the Tyler Perry Studios franchise, contributing to the talent and AD departments—providing production support, script consultation, and voiceover work across numerous hit series.

Her contributions span more than 200 film and television credits, reflecting a deep commitment to excellence and collaboration.

Beyond the screen, Susan founded the Midwest Christian Inspirational Indie Film Festival in Chicago, Illinois, which ran successfully from 2011 to 2016, celebrating independent voices and faith-based storytelling. Her passion for service extends into civic leadership as well—she made history in 2006 as the first Black woman elected to the Board of Trustees for the Village of Lynwood, Illinois

Today, Susan continues to merge creativity and purpose through her work as a producer, consultant, and on-screen talent, currently represented exclusively by Gill Talent Group. She remains actively involved in projects filming in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, championing diverse stories and empowering creatives to bring their visions to life.
